Tips for planning your sparkler send off
1. Talk to your venue to make sure they are okay with sparklers! If not, there are tons of other beautiful exit options - I have always loved the idea of dried flowers😍)
2. Make sure you purchase the big sparklers so they will burn longer (and you have more time to take awesome photos)!
3. Have sand buckets available for everyone to safely dispose of sparklers after using them.
4. Plan a sparkler station that is easily seen by everyone entering the reception. Make a sign that tells guests what time you plan on doing the sparkler exit. You can also make an announcement during the reception.
5. Have a few people dedicated guiding guests into two straight lines with enough room for the couple to safely run between and helping guests light sparklers at the same time.
6. Have guests point sparklers up toward the sky (not straight out).
7. Keep in mind that once the sparklers are going you have about 30 seconds to a minute to run through and get photos.
8. Make your grand, magical exit!
